 Facts about cheetahs
Introduction
Cheetahs are a part of the cat family . they live in most grasslands in south africa.
Their appearance
The cheetah is about 1-2 - 1.5 metres in length.  It's height is around 66cm - 94cm as an adult.  They weigh from 21 - 72 kilograms.
Diet
Cheetahs are carnivores.  They eat antelope, birds and hares.   They are excellent hunters.

Habitat
Cheetahs live in the grasslands in South Africa.  They roam around and don’t stay in one spot unless they are breeding.  Cheetahs also use trees to have a safe spot away from predators.
Speed
Cheetahs are very fast.  They are  the fasted animals in the world on land. They are quick to get to the other animals.  Their fastest speed is about a 110 km an hour
Protection
People are trying to get rid of types of cheetahs.  They hunt them for fun and are also putting them in zoos .  Cheetahs have claws and teeth to protect themselves.  Their speed also lets them get away from trouble fast.
Breeding
There are different types of cheetahs. South African cheetahs live for 10-12 years.  They breed up to 2-3 cubs at a time.  Cheetahs are related  to bobcats .

So I think cheetahs are a very interesting and cool and I think i have done well in spelling  .
My next step is to add detail into my information report

***********

I have created a New Zealand freshwater habitat and including 3 creatures that live there one endemic one native and one introduced.

The freshwater habitat contains different levels of fish, some like native to introduced;  rocks and water. The rocks are sometimes high and low, some rocks have sharp ends some have not as sharps  ends. There are different types of water some rapid, some calm.  Freshwater streams are fed from melting snow in the mountains.

The endemic creature I have included is a torrentfish which  live in freshwater. The length of  Torrentfish is 100-120 cm. Torrentfish live under the name of freshwater fish. They eat whitebait  .

The eels are native to New Zealand. The eel I’m talking about is a longfin eel. The species they live under is freshwater fish. Sometimes you will find them in the sea but that's where they make babies.  Then they swim back to freshwater and sometimes they nest in freshwater.  The length of the eel is 2 m long. They eat larvae worms, they are omnivores   .

The catfish is introduced to New Zealand. Catfish are pests to eels because they try to steal their babies or kill them. The length of a catfish is 1.2 -1.6 m. They eat water beetles too they are coummers on the food chain .

The eel, the torrentfish and the catfish live in the New Zealand freshwater habitat.
